PENDLETON — More than a dozen employers and other representatives will be on hand for the Employer Pipeline Project.

The effort is an initiative between Umatilla County, CAPECO, Eastern Oregon Business Source and the Pendleton School District to promote a homegrown workforce. The idea is to connect high school graduates with employers to fill open positions. The upcoming meeting is Monday from noon to 1 p.m. in the community room at Pendleton City Hall, 500 S.W. Dorion Ave.
