PENDLETON — Grant money is available for projects that serve at-risk children ages 0-6 and their families.
Offered through the Blue Mountain Early Learning Hub, priority is given to activities that serve or support more than one community. Services must be provided in a culturally competent and gender-specific manner that reflects the population, needs and resources of the community.
Funding can be provided for community-based services that increase the strength and stability of families (including adoptive, foster and extended families), improve parenting skills, provide children a safe, stable and supportive family environment, strengthen parental relationships and promote healthy marriages, and enhance child development, including through mentoring.
The application deadline is Friday, Nov. 17. For eligibility information, an application or more information, visit www.bluemountainearlylearninghub.org. For questions, contact Kim Thul at email@example.com or 541-966-3157.
