HERMISTON — Area kids are encouraged to challenge their brains while also testing the luck of the Irish.
The Hermiston Public Library recently announced a Shamrock Reading Challenge during the month of March. Children can read 13 picture books or two chapter books for a chance to spin the prize wheel.
For more information or to pick up a reading log, stop by the library Monday through Thursdays from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. or Friday/Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The library is located at 235 E. Gladys Ave., Hermiston. For questions, call 541-567-2882.
