PENDLETON — For people becoming confused with deadlines, deductibles, networks, and other important aspects of health insurance, an upcoming workshop can help answer questions.
Health Insurance 101 is a free 90-minute workshop designed to help people understand basics about health insurance. Presented by representatives form the Oregon Health Insurance Marketplace, the free event is Tuesday, Sept. 18, from 6-7:30 p.m. in the community room at Pendleton City Hall, 500 S.W. Dorion Ave.
The session will include information on types of health insurance, including Medicare, the Oregon Health Plan, and individual and family plans, eligibility for financial assistance and how to prepare enrollment.
