As warmer weather pushes into the region, it is expected to bring a front of snow, sleet and freezing rain this afternoon.
The National Weather Service in Pendleton has issued a winter weather advisory for northeastern Oregon and southwestern Washington, including most of Umatilla and Morrow counties.
The warning extends until 10 p.m. Thursday. Temperatures are expected to rise into the mid-40s Friday, which could bring flooding in some areas as snow from the last week melts off.
