Hermiston girls lose at home

HERMISTON — The Hermiston girls soccer team fell to 0-2 in Mid-Columbia Conference play Tuesday with a 2-1 loss to Southridge at Kennison Field.

Ely Hernandez scored for the Bulldogs with 30 minutes remaining in the game. Lanie Gomez finished with nine saves in goal.

The Bulldogs lost defender Jocilyn Morrison to an ankle injury in the first half. She is questionable for Wednesday’s game at Chiawana.
