Brok D. Palmer was born on February 28, 1999, in Hermiston, Oregon. He died on February 6, 2017, at his home in Hermiston, Oregon, at the age of 17 years.
Brok attended grade school at Sunset Elementary and Desert View Elementary schools. He attended Armand Larive Middle School and was currently a senior at Hermiston High School. Brok had played AAU basketball, 3 on 3 tournament basketball, high school basketball, Grid Kids and junior high football.
He enjoyed cars, playing basketball, car shows, video games, listening to music, and was very social.
He is survived by his parents, Jackie and Robert Herrera, Hermiston, Ore.; brothers Damien and Dustin, and sisters Tyah. Katie, Lexi, Kiley and K’Lee, all of Hermiston, Ore.; grandparents Deborah Gardner, Ukiah, Ore., Michael Palmer, Colorado, Rick and Cecilia Drake, Heppner, Ore., and Juanita and Benito Sanchez, Hermiston, Ore.; girlfriend Tanisha McLemore, Hermiston, Ore.; nephew Jaiden Palmer; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Brok was preceded in death by his uncle, Trampis Palmer.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. at the Hermiston Cemetery, Hermiston, Oregon. A celebration of life gathering will follow at 12:00 noon at The Pheasant Restaurant, 139 E. Main St., Hermiston, OR 97838.
