Regina Lynn Lincoln, 56, of Island City passed away on Saturday, February 3, 2018, at Grande Ronde Hospital. A funeral service will be held at La Grande Valley Fellowship Church on Monday, February 12, 2018, at 2:00 p.m.

Regina was born May 21, 1961, in Prineville, Oregon, to Wallace and Shirley (Binam) Stephens. She resided in Prineville, Ore.; La Grande, Ore.; Brookings, Ore., and Island City, Ore. She attended Greenwood Elementary School, La Grande Middle School, La Grande High School and Brookings High School.

She married Carl Rust in June 1978 and they later divorced in March 1995. She then married Mike Lincoln in August 1997.

Regina was a medical transcriptionist for Grand Ronde Hospital from 1996 to 2017. She enjoyed camping, snowshoeing, boating, gardening, traveling and helping her husband with various projects. She also enjoyed watching the National and American League World Series baseball games. She was a huge Seattle Seahawks fan, watching all games, and attended a couple of games. She was also a huge supporter of her granddaughter and nieces’ and nephews’ baseball, basketball, football, track and fast pitch softball games.

Regina was the most caring, loving mother, grandmother and wife. She touched the lives of so many people, leaving her mark and memory as a most loving, supportive and caring friend, co-worker, mother and aunt.

Regina is survived by her husband Mike; daughter Julia Mathews (Tim) of La Grande; son Nick Rust (Marissa) of Waldport, Ore., and stepson Eric Lincoln of La Grande, Ore.; mother Shirley Stephens of La Grande, Ore.; brother David Stephens of La Grande, Ore.; sister-in-law Anette Powers (Floyd) of La Grande, Ore.; brothers-in-law John Lincoln of Port Orford, Ore., and Tom Lincoln (Sharon) of La Grande, Ore.; six grandchildren: Mackensie Rust, Graysin Rust, Halo Bartlett, Joey Mathews, Megan Mathews and Terran Mathews; four nieces and nephews; and aunts and uncles Dale and Ann Stephens, Dianna Thorson, Bill and Dorris Halsey, Ron Gross, Carolyn Binam and Donna Stephens.

She was preceded in death by her father, Wallace Stephens; brother James Stephens; father-in-law Terry Lincoln and mother-in-law Carolyn Lincoln, and sister-in-law Susan Lincoln.
