Nadine L. O’Brien was born August 14, 1927, in Palouse, Wash., and passed April 10, 2018, in Walla Walla, Wash.
She was the 10th child of the 13 children born to Harry and Hattie (Sellers) Cox.
She married Patrick O’Brien August 28, 1949, in Milton-Freewater, Oregon. They resided in Heppner, Oregon, the majority of their marriage. They moved to Walla Walla in 1990.
She is survived by her daughter Sherri Lynn O’Brien Watson and son-in-law Bill Watson, sister Roberta (Bobby) Haer, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Patrick; brothers Clinton Cox, John LaDow Cox, Shaldon Cox, Darrel Cox and LaVonne Cox; and sisters Zona Marsh, Audrey
Smith, Bethel Smith, Claudine Smith, Beverly Parks and Gwen Green.
Graveside services will be held April 20, 2018, at Blue Mountain Memorial Gardens, 300 S.E. Myra Road, College Place, Wash., at 2:00 p.m. followed by a gathering at Rancho Villa Mobile Home Park community room, 1396 Dalles Military Road, Walla Walla.
