Slick roads keep emergency services hopping near Pendleton early Friday morning.

THURSDAY


8:36 a.m. - A resident of Northeast 37th Street, Pendleton, reported an assault.

8:55 a.m. - A resident of Southwest Utah Avenue, Irrigon, reported she heard noise outside by her fence the previous evening and found a breathing machine and some paperwork outside this morning. The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office collected the items.

9:58 a.m. - An employee at the Heppner Shell station, 329 N. Main St., reported some kids came into the business and tried to buy items using a fake $100 bill. The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office is investigating.

1:10 p.m. - The Oregon State Police responded to a one-vehicle rollover accident on Interstate 84 near milepost 232. There were no injuries reported.

4:11 p.m. - The Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office took a theft report from a resident of Bridge Road, Hermiston

5:19 p.m. - A Milton-Freewater woman reported her son’s cell phone was stolen from the 300 block of Southwest Second Avenue.


FRIDAY


12:19 a.m. - Umatilla County sheriff’s deputies investigated a report of shots fired in the vicinity of Kik Road and Joy Lane, Hermiston, but did not locate a shooter.

1:16 a.m. - A theft was reported by a resident of Northeast 11th Street, Hermiston.

5:34 a.m. - Pendleton and Pilot Rock police and emergency crews responded to a rollover accident on South Highway 395 outside Pendleton. A second accident near Pilot Rock on Highway 395 was reported at 5:46 a.m., and a third accident, involving a bus, occurred at South Highway 395 and Spring Creek Road. A fourth accident involving a pickup and a sedan was called in at 6:40 a.m. in the same vicinity.

6:20 a.m. - A resident of North Third Street, Athena, reported a car break-in.


ARRESTS, CITATIONS


•Hermiston police arrested Devon Robert Hollenbeck, 24, address not provided, for second-degree burglary (other structures), criminal conspiracy, second-degree criminal mischief (vandalism), third-degree theft and possession of marijuana.

•Jade Michele Romanick, 24, Hermiston, was arrested by Umatilla police for first-degree burglary, first-degree criminal trespass and third-degree criminal mischief (vandalism).

•The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office arrested Kristina Louise Moore, 30, Hermiston, for third-degree robbery, a felony, and misdemeanor charges of fourth-degree aggravated assault, second-degree theft, second-degree escape and on a felony parole/LSA violation.
