A drunk scooter driver got a ride home, a woman dealt with social media harassment, and a Weston resident reported a death threat to her dog

WEDNESDAY


12:49 a.m. - An intoxicated person driving a scooter on East May Street, Heppner, received a ride home from a good Samaritan.

10:56 a.m. - The Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office took a report for a burglary on York Road, Weston.

11:15 a.m. - A Pendleton mother asked to speak to an officer about her son harassing her.

11:59 a.m. - Umatilla emergency services responded to E Street for a chimney fire.

1:42 p.m. - Hermiston police received a report from Southeast Ninth Street of two males on bicycles going through a mailbox. Police did not find the pair.

3:28 p.m. - Morrow County law enforcement responded to an assault on Wilson Lane, Boardman, then cleared off when no one wanted to press charges.

3:32 p.m. - An Irrigon man reported the theft of his gray 1986 long-box Ford F250 pickup from storage at Irrigon Motors, 290 W. California Ave., Irrigon. He said he is a truck driver and gets the vehicle every month or so when he returns home, so the theft probably occurred in the last month.

3:39 p.m. - A woman in Pendleton told police she is receiving harassing Facebook messages from a female in Idaho.

4 p.m. - An Echo resident on Perry Street complained about an aggressive solicitor. Stanfield police did not find the salesman.

4:50 p.m. - Stanfield police also received a complaint about people throwing cans and beer bottles near a private fence line at South Highway 395 and Glendening Street.

5:07 p.m. - A Weston woman on South Franklin Street reported a man threatened to kill her dog.

9:53 p.m. - Pendleton police responded to a 911 report of a male and female fighting on Southwest Hailey Avenue.


ARRESTS, CITATIONS


•Pendleton police arrested Michael Thomas Hall, 30, of 122 S.W. 10th St., Pilot Rock, for possession of methamphetamine and first- and second-degree trespassing.
