TUESDAY


7:08 a.m. - The owner of a boat reported the theft of the 19-foot-long Sea Swirl craft from the Boardman Marina. He reported he docked the boat for three days and someone cut the mooring ropes, and he still had the keys to the boat.

8:08 a.m. - A Heppner woman on Linden Way reported the theft of dog food and dog dishes.

10:48 a.m. - A Umatilla resident on Third Street reported finding marks on the door as if someone was trying to break in.

12:03 p.m. - A Heppner resident called for an ambulance because she was dehydrated. She told emergency dispatch she called her doctor first, and he said she needed to go to the hospital. She reported feeling flushed, hot and dizzy, and said the same thing happened Saturday.

Stay hydrated, folks, especially in this heat wave.

12:12 p.m. - Discourteous neighbors on Southeast Utah Avenue, Irrigon, drew a complaint for allowing visitors to park and block the driveway of other residents. The neighbors also have a white Dodge pickup with a long bed that blocks the lane of traffic.

1:10 p.m. - Pendleton police checked on a report of child abuse and determined there was no abuse.

1:49 p.m. - The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office received a report of child abuse.

2:20 p.m. - The staff at Pendleton Aviation, 5015 N.W. Ave. A., Pendleton, asked to speak to police about the theft of solar panels.

4:49 p.m. - A Heppner resident asked to talk to a Morrow County sheriff’s deputy about the dog that attacked her Monday night at Northwest Church and North Main streets. She said the dog jumped two fences and ran more than two blocks to get at her and her dog.

6:17 p.m. - A caller at the St. Patrick’s Senior Center, Heppner, reported a female was trying to open doors at the center and get into apartments.

6:46 p.m. - A tractor tore up a newly placed section of Baseline Road between Highway 207 and Lexington Grange near Lexington. The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office closed the road so crews can repair the damage. The sheriff’s office asked drivers to avoid the area until the road is again safe to travel.

6:46 p.m. - Pendleton police responded to Stillman Park, 413 S.E. Byers Ave., where several people at a table near the tennis courts were smoking marijuana and drinking. Police issued a citation.

7:38 p.m. - The Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call about people screaming racial slurs on Cherry Street, Umatilla. The caller also mentioned a semi-tractor almost hit her.

10:24 p.m. - Umatilla police received a 911 report about a fight at Columbia Crest Apartments on Third Street.


ARRESTS, CITATIONS


•Morrow County Sheriff’s Office arrested Kage Autumn Taylor, 21, of Hermiston, for domestic violence charges of fourth-degree assault and strangulation, both felonies.
