6:15 a.m. - A Heppner resident reported fraud and identity theft involving her checking account, savings and credit cards.
7:21 a.m. - Milton-Freewater police took a report for criminal mischief after someone broke a car’s windshield on the 300 block of Southwest Sixth Avenue.
10:05 a.m. - Umatilla police took a report for criminal mischief for damage to a vehicle on Pendleton Avenue. They took a second complaint about 20 minutes later for criminal mischief on Naches Avenue.
11:15 a.m. - A caller told Hermiston someone stole the hubcap off his Cadillac Escalade after he parked at Southeast Third Street and East Tamarack Avenue behind the Hermiston Convention Center.
12:10 p.m. - A dog left its yard on Washington Lane, Irrigon, and bit a man. The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office responded and warned the dog owner to keep the dog in the property.
1:11 p.m. - An Echo resident reported someone made $2,478.78 worth of fraudulent charges on her account.
2:05 p.m. - Hermiston police received a report of possible drug activity at a residence on East Gladys Avenue.
3:25 p.m. - Someone stole a Hermiston woman’s information to open a credit card account, the victim told the Hermiston Police Department.
4:21 p.m. - Hermiston police received a report of child abuse.
7:33 p.m. - Callers reported a male in Irrigon on Southeast Utah Avenue was shirtless, and “making all sorts of noise, yelling and trying to start fights with people.” A female in a teal dress followed him and may have taken video of the man.
8:55 p.m. - A 911 caller reported a grass fire at Rocky Ridge and Indian Lake roads, Pilot Rock.
9:25 p.m. - Fire burned about 30-40 acres out off Ross Road, Meacham.
10:31 p.m. - Hermiston police received a report of a fight at Southwest 17th Street and West Highland Avenue.
1 a.m. - A law enforcement officer on South Highway 395 and East Hurlburt Avenue, Hermiston, reported an intoxicated driver in front of him, but he could not stop because he was transporting a suspect he arrested.
3:01 a.m. - Fire broke out in a travel trailer on West Seventh Road, Irrigon, and spread to grass. The fire department from Irrigon responded.
11:46 a.m. - Oregon State Police recovered a stolen gun at Columbia Outdoor Sports & Surplus, 395 E. Main St., Hermiston, as a result of a background check during a pawn loan transaction. The owner of the gun lives in Baker City.
5:57 p.m. - The Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office received a report of illegal drug activity at Western Express, 28810 Stafford Hansell Road, Hermiston.
11:35 p.m. - A 911 caller reported gunshots on Southwest 13th Place, Hermiston.
4:18 a.m. - Someone stole a vehicle from Northeast Misty Drive, Hermiston.
1:43 p.m. - Hermiston police responded to a pig on the loose at East Oregon Avenue and Northeast Fourth Street.
3:56 p.m. - A caller reported a burglary on the first block of East Dogwood Avenue, Hermiston.
•Umatilla Tribal Police arrested Kevin James Crane, 26, of Pendleton, for hindering prosecution, assault, felony domestic abuse, menacing and felony failure to appear.
•Pendleton police arrested Lonnie Lynn Abbott, 43, of Pendleton, for felony methamphetamine possession, methamphetamine delivery and second-degree trespass.
•Hermiston police arrested Paul Thomas Cazares, 26, of Umatilla, for first-degree burglary, second-degree assault, menacing, harassment and resisting arrest.
•Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office arrested Jessica Denice Pankey, 35, of Hermiston, for felony methamphetamine possession, first- and second-degree trespass, third-degree mischief, and for felony parole violations and failure to pay fines.
•Oregon State Police arrested Gonzalo Arellano Montes, 21, of Hermiston, for driving under the influence of intoxicants.
•Hermiston police arrested Sergio Ruiz Monroy, 35, of Hermiston, for possession and delivery of methamphetamine.
•A traffic stop led to the arrest of a Wyoming woman on multiple warrants.
Oregon State Police trooper Isaiah Johnston stopped a silver Subaru WRX for a violation at 1:24 a.m. while heading westbound on Interstate 84 near milepost 193. The trooper then saw the passenger, Jandra Peasley, 35, of Rock Springs, Wyoming, was not wearing a seatbelt and had an expired Wyoming license.
The state police Southern Command Center told the trooper Peasley had a statewide arrest warrant for felon in possession of a restricted weapon. She also had 10 more warrants for failure to appear.
The trooper booked Peasley into the Umatilla County Jail, Pendleton, on those 11 warrants.
