MONDAY


6:53 a.m. - An emergency caller reported a burglary on East Elm Avenue, Hermiston.

8:39 a.m. - Umatilla police dealt with an at-large dog on Seventh Street.

8:46 a.m. - Hermiston police took a report of burglary on the 1200 block of North First Street.

9:27 a.m. - The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office took a report for vandalism at the Morrow County Agricultural Museum on Riverside Avenue, Heppner.

10:29 a.m. - A 911 caller at the Wilson Road Mobile Home Park, 600 Wilson Road S.W., Boardman, reported a resident with Alzheimer’s accidentally fired a Colt .45 caliber pistol into a neighbor’s window. No one was injured.

10:44 a.m. - A milk cow wandering for the last day around West Water Street, Lexington, drew a call to the Morrow County Sheriff’s Office, in case someone was looking for it.

10:50 a.m. - A resident on Northwest Dawn Drive, Hermiston, complained about a dog barking during the day. Police responded and issued a warning.

11:19 a.m. - An Irrigon caller on Cedar Road reported someone left a Doberman Pinscher that was friendly and not aggressive. He said he fed it for several days and would like a Morrow County sheriff’s deputy to take the dog.

11:25 a.m. - Hermiston police removed three bales of hay from the road at North First Street and East Theater Lane, Hermiston.

11:54 a.m. - A man wanted to talk to Hermiston police about someone who gave him a letter.

1:40 p.m. - The Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a burglary on Joy Lane, Hermiston.

3:17 p.m. - Pilot Rock police responded to a disturbance at J & D’s Food Mart, 111 S.W. Birch St., but everything was OK.

3:36 p.m. - The Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office took another report for a burglary, this time on North Ott Road.

7:39 p.m. - Traner’s Plumbing & Heating, 80611 N. Highway 395, Hermiston, reported theft of services.

9:25 p.m. - A Heppner resident on Northwest Gale Street reported someone got into his home during the day and stole $80, a pile of checkbooks and more. He also said he shut his door but had not locked it.

11:08 p.m. - Hermiston police responded to a fight on East Catherine Avenue.
