Ambulance services in Morrow County were busy, and more folks landed in jail for DUIIs

MONDAY


7:07 a.m. - Emergency services responded to Northeast Third Street, Boardman, for a possible drug overdose. An ambulance took the patient to Good Shepherd Medical Center.

11:14 a.m. - A Lexington man on South B Street told a Morrow County deputy sheriff the garbage truck spills trash every week on the road. The deputy talked to the garbage company, which promised to speak to the driver.

11:32 a.m. - A caller at Wells’ Manor Apartments, 414 S.E. 17th St., Pendleton, reported the theft of a vehicle.

11:52 a.m. - A Milton-Freewater man on the 100 block of Northwest First Avenue reported the theft of a generator.

12:20 p.m. - The owner of a dog reported it chewed through its rope at the Main Street Park, Heppner. A Morrow County sheriff’s deputy responded, found the dog and returned it to the owner — for the second time that day.

Don’t make them do that a third time.

1:26 p.m. - Stanfield police issued six more citations for odor complaints at 3D Idapro on Hoosier Lane.

3:19 p.m. - Morrow County law enforcement responded to Boardman on a report of a local suffering mental and emotional problems.

6:21 p.m. - Pendleton police received a report of a single, small boy, barefoot and shirtless, sitting with no adults in sight at Southwest Fourth Street and Goodwin Avenue.

8:34 p.m. - Wtechlink, 404 S.E. Dorion Ave., Pendleton, was the target of criminal mischief.

9:05 p.m. - The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office was on the lookout for an “extremely intoxicated” man who threatened violence against a girl in Irrigon and took off in a big white van on Highway 730 toward Boardman.

9:34 p.m. - Hermiston police responded to a report of an assault on the 300 block of East Dogwood Avenue but did not find any suspects.

9:55 a.m. - The ambulance service in Boardman responded to a baby with difficulty breathing.

11:30 p.m. - Pendleton police responded to a report of domestic violence in the parking lot at 1300 S.W. Court Ave.


TUESDAY


1:42 a.m. - A 911 caller reported a fight at Mac’s Bar & Grill, 1400 S.W. Dorion Ave., Pendleton, but police did not find the suspects.


ARRESTS, CITATIONS


Monday

•Pendleton police arrested Derek Jay Shank, 31, of Milton-Freewater, for third-degree theft and felony methamphetamine possession.

•Hermiston police arrested Jesus Salvador Solorio Vidales, 34, of Irrigon, for felony probation violations, contempt of court and felony methamphetamine possession.

•Oregon State Police cited Tyler Scott Jessen, 28, of Pilot Rock, for driving under the influence of intoxicants.

Tuesday

•Pendleton police at 1:55 a.m. responded to a wrong-way driver on Southwest Dorion Avenue at Fourth Street. Police arrested Erik J. Deleon, 35, of Portland, for DUII.
