A grandfather reported his grandson is a thief, and an intersection north of Pendleton became a dumping spot

TUESDAY


8:27 a.m. - Umatilla police responded to a complaint of a big German shepherd at large at Cowlitz Avenue and Walla Walla Street.

8:48 a.m. - Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office took information about a burglary on Vansycle Road, Helix.

10:30 a.m. - Umatilla police dealt with a another complaint of a dog at large, this time on Madison Street.

12:03 p.m. - A man at the Morrow County Justice Court, 205 N.E. Main Ave., Irrigon, reported his grandson stole $200 from his pickup.

3:45 p.m. - A resident on East Coe Avenue, Stanfield, told police she wants the woman in a the black Jeep to stop driving by her house and taking photographs.

3:54 p.m. - A woman asked to speak to a Hermiston officer about someone who keeps texting her and would like them to stop.

3:54 p.m. - The Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office received a complaint about the bed, recliner and four tires on the side of Snyder Road about 1.5 miles from the intersection with Highway 37 north of Pendleton. The caller also said the collection had been there about a month.

3:58 p.m. - Stanfield police responded to a 911 report of a male and female fighting at East Wood Avenue and North Sloan Street.

9:18 p.m. - Pilot Rock police responded to a 911 call about a people arguing and creating a disturbance 1on Southwest Cedar Street.


ARRESTS, CITATIONS


•Oregon State Police arrested Jose Alberto Calderon, 28, of Hermiston, for driving under the influence of intoxicants.
