The board of directors of the Pendleton Foundation Trust recently announced grants, memorial trusts funds and scholarships given in 2017 will total $154,179. The board also awarded fall grants in the amount of $71,153.29 to the following:
•Pendleton Enhancement Project, $20,000 as part of the matching grant funds for the Eighth Street Bridge trusses project, which is between Frazer and Goodwin avenues in downtown Pendleton.
•Fraternal Order of Eagles No. 28, $12,500 toward the replacement of the floor covering with slip-resistant tiles.
•McKay Creek Elementary School, $13,844.04 to go toward lighting, a sound system and media screen for the multipurpose room.
•Sherwood Heights Elementary School, $11,168.97 to purchase 30 Chromebooks, three Chromebook charge carts and management services for third grade classrooms.
•Pendleton Country Club, $13,640.28 to complete remodeling of two clubhouse restrooms.
