The Boardman community lit up the holiday season with the Welcome Santa Drive.

The jolly old elf hitched up his custom-made sleigh, which was created by SECO Pallets, LLC. In its third year, the event included holiday music, lighted floats and parade entries. After departing from Blalock Street, Santa and the crew made its way to Main Street and on to the SAGE Center.

People were invited to warm up with hot chocolate. In addition, there were photo opportunities with Santa Claus and he passed out presents to the kids.

The SECO Pallets family expressed special thanks to those who helped make the event possible, including the Morrow Country Sheriff’s Office, Boardman Police Department, Boardman Rural Fire Protection District, DJ Kora, C&D Drive In, Columbia River Dairy, the Leffler family, SAGE Center, Boardman Kiwanis Club and Santa Claus, aka Dan Huxoll.
