Mac-Hi saxophonist tunes up at festival

Noah Pratton, a senior at McLoughlin High School, was recognized as an outstanding soloist at the 56th annual Clark College Jazz Festival, held Jan. 26 in Vancouver, Washington.


McLoughlin High School’s Noah Pratton was recently recognized as an outstanding soloist at the 56th annual Clark College Jazz Festival in Vancouver, Washington.

The senior saxophonist received the honor during a Jan. 26 performance with the McLoughlin High School Jazz Band under the direction of Mike Agidius. The group played four pieces at the festival, including “S’Wonderful” by George Gershwin, “Amigo” by Paul Clark, “At Last” by Mack Gordon and Harry Warren, and “Spain” by Chick Corea.
