During the annual Christmas party of the Columbia Basin Board of Realtors, people dug deep to help benefit Agape House.

Affiliate members of the Realtors board brought table centerpieces that were auctioned off at the end of the evening. The proceeds of $1,017 was donated to the Hermiston-based nonprofit organization.

Representatives from the board — including president Linda Andreason, Mike Boylan, Debbie Brandt, Sherie Britt, Heidi Carver, Stephanie Hughes, Tracy Hunter, Dean Kegler, Shirley Parsons, Maggie Rodriguez and Donn Walls — presented the check to Dave Hughes, executive director of Agape House, during the board’s Jan. 17 general membership meeting.

Agape House provides assistance to people in need in Hermiston and the surrounding area. For more information, call Hughes at 541-567-8774.
