With a theme of the Queen of Hearts, Pendleton Parks & Recreation had a full house during the Daddy-Daughter Dance.

In its seventh year of selling out, the Feb 3 event, drew 675 people of all ages at the Pendleton Convention Center. The evening featured dancing, music, hors d’oeuvres, the famous chocolate fountain, pictures, door prizes and fun.

“It brings joy to our hearts and smiles to our faces to see the community coming together and celebrating a magical night out!” said Casey Brown, city of Pendleton special projects coordinator.

Event sponsors, Brown said, contribute to the overall success of the event, they are Banner Bank, Wildhorse Resort & Casino, CHI St. Anthony’s Hospital, and Pendleton Rotary Club. Also, he expressed appreciation to the many volunteers and staff members who gave their time to make the event possible.

“It would not happen without you all and without a culture of community service,” he said.
