State representative leaves job at Linfield College

State representative Ron Noble has left his job at Linfield College to spend more time on his legislative career

MCMINNVILLE, Ore. (AP) Oregon State Rep. Ron Noble has left his job as campus safety director at Linfield College.

The first-term McMinnville Republican tells the Yamhill Valley News-Register he plans to spend more time on legislative activities.

Noble took the Linfield job in 2014 after retiring as chief of the McMinnville Police Department. His replacement at Linfield is Dennis Marks, another former McMinnville police officer.
