Temple Hotel facade grant on agenda

PENDLETON - The Pendleton Development Commission will consider a facade application for the Temple Hotel when it meets at 8 tonight in the City Hall Council Chambers at 500 S.W. Dorion Ave.

Temple Hotel owner Al Plute will present his plans for renovating the downtown landmark, which so far has an estimated project costs of $702,000. The PDC also will consider Plute's grant request of $66,250 to construct a fire escape on the east face of the hotel, which is about half of the anticipated project cost.

The PDC also will consider a facade grant application for Kevin and Lori Martin, owners of the Raley Building at 29-35 S.E. Court Ave.
