CONDON - Art students from Condon and Fossil high schools are welcoming artists 50 and older to participate with them in their Christmas show, "Art House," at the Mary Cernyar M.F.A. Gallery.

Collaboration and exchanging ideas throughout the community will increase art awareness in students and adults, said Cernyar, the art teacher at Condon and Fossil high schools. She believes teens and adults working together can be leaders, and art can make a difference.

Condon High School students are hanging art work by students from both schools and from the community.

"Art House" will run Friday, Dec. 20, through Sunday, Dec. 22. The artists' reception is planned for 2-6:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 20.

Condon fifth-grade students have designed sets and will present a dramatization of the Vincent Van Gogh painting, "Potato Eaters" during the reception.

The event is sponsored by Mary Cernyar, Deena Davis and Loris Haldorson, all of Condon, and Michelle Ordway of Fossil.
