Caledonian Ceilidh and Concert, outdoor benefit dinner in the park, 5-8 p.m. $15 per plate for steak with brown sauce made with Scottish ale, potatoes with Bleu Cheese and music by A Scottish Heart.


American Legion Pancake Breakfast, 6-11 a.m., Main Street.

5k race 7:30 a.m., Third Street Gate. Chelsea Bonifer race coordinator.

Vendors open, Scottish souvenirs, crafts and food, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Sheep dog trials, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., athletic field.

Children's Bike Parade, line up at tennis courts, 8:15 a.m., parade at 8:45 a.m.

Caledonian Games Parade, 9 a.m., Main Street.

Clan Tents Open, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. City Park.

Highland dancing, piping and drumming competitions begin at 10 a.m.

Antique Car Show, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., city park.

Parade awards announced in the park, 11:15 a.m.

Celtic Harp with Janet Naylor, 11:30 a.m., under the trees.

Scottish athletic events, registration at 11:30 in the big green tent, events begin at noon. Includes: 16-pound sheaf toss, rolling pin toss, Scottish hammer, 56-pound weight for height, stone put and caber toss. Alan Wernsing is director of Scottish athletic events.

Free entertainment in the park all afternoon including story teller Mary Finney of Pendleton at noon under the trees.

Celtic harp specialist, Janet Naylor from Eugene, 1 p.m., under the trees.

The Reel Fling, fiddling, dancing stage, 1-2 p.m.

Swimming Pool opens at completion of dance, 1 p.m.

Horse shoe tournaments, 1:30 p.m. registration, 2 p.m. singles and doubles matches.

The Reel Fling, 2-2:45 p.m., dancing stage.

Boise Highlanders Pipe Band, 2:45 p.m., vendor's area.

A Scottish Heart, 3 p.m., dancing stage in the park.

Golf 3-hole pitch-and-putt tournament at the elementary school athletic field from 3-6 p.m. Todd Rainwater is course director.

Tattoo, 6:30 p.m. athletic field. Pipe bands marching in review: Weston McEwen Pipe and Drum Corps, Boise Highlanders, Desert Thistle Pipes and Drum Corps, A Scottish Heart.
