PENDLETON - Andy McAnally, owner of Big John's Pizza, has declared the month of February as "Pizza for Schools" month.

Local students will be handing out certificates to family members, friends and neighbors redeemable at Big John's. When people order a family-size pizza the certificate will result in a $5 donation, a double pizza $4 and a single $3 to Pendleton schools. The certificates allow the bearer to designate which school they want the donation to be made to.

"As a local restaurant owner, I feel it's important to support the community whenever possible," McAnally said.

If you don't know a student or haven't received a certificate, go to Call McAnally at 310-0064 for more information.
