PENDLETON - A breakfast fund-raiser for Japanese cultural exchange students will be sponsored by the Knights of Columbus from 8 a.m. to noon, Sunday, April 24, at St. Mary Catholic Church.

Six Pendleton High School students will spend three weeks in Japan learning about the country's culture and participating in Haramachi, Japan's, annual festival. The students are Carl Uhlman, Katie Warhol, Justine Doherty, Alixanne Pinkerton, Rebecca Franke and Talia Vogler. Colleen Hunt, a wellness and physical education teacher, will accompany the students.
