MEACHAM - Members of the Oregon Trail Travelers will gather for a campout from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday at Emigrant Springs Park near Meacham.

The Oregon Trail Travelers is comprised of people who volunteer their time to share their knowledge and demonstrate trades, crafts and lifestyles of the people who came across the Oregon Trail.

In addition to the historical demonstrations, the Blue Mountain Old Time Fiddle Association will perform Saturday afternoon and evening. The public is welcome to this family-oriented event.

Emigrant Springs is 26 miles east of Pendleton off Exit 234 of Interstate 84. For more information about the event, call 278-0617.
