Class takes turn at making cider

Jill Perrine’s second-grade class at Athena Elementary School spent an hour making apple cider on a recent afternoon. The class enjoyed the activity and claimed the juice to be “great!” Blue Mountain Growers of Milton-Freewater donated the apples for the project.
