RELAY FOR LIFE CAPTAINS MEETING, 5:30 p.m. in the Community Room of Pendleton City Hall, accessible from the Southwest Emigrant Avenue parking lot. Anyone interested in forming a team is welcome. Committee meeting will follow.

PENDLETON PLAYERS PRESENTS "DO NOT GO GENTLE," 7 p.m. at Pendleton High School. Admission $6. Drama directed by John Remington. Appropriate for all ages. Tickets available at the door or at Armchair Books. A production of PHS Players.

THURSDAY, DEC. 13

PENDLETON PLAYERS PRESENTS "THE FOREIGNER," 7 p.m. at Pendleton High School Auditorium. Admission $6. Comedy directed by Shannon McClellan. Tickets available at the door or at Armchair Books. Appropriate for all ages. A production of PHS Players.

BOARDMAN CHRISTMAS LIGHTING CONTEST, 7 p.m. Judges will make their rounds at residences and businesses to award cash prizes. Event sponsored by the Tillicum Club.

NATHAN OWENS AT WILDFIRE CABARET, 7-11 p.m. at Wildhorse Resort & Casino, Mission. Motown and soul. No cover charge.

FRIDAY, DEC. 14

FRIDAY FUN TIME, 9:15-10 a.m., Children's Museum of Eastern Oregon, 400 S. Main St., Pendleton. Stories, rhymes, crafts and snacks centered around a Christmas theme. Free to members, $2 for nonmembers.

FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS, 5-9 p.m. (weather permitting) at Umatilla County Fairgrounds, 425 W. Orchard Ave., Hermiston. Admission is free, but donations are accepted. The event includes horse- drawn wagon rides, a holiday bazaar, pictures with Santa and the Eagles food booth.

HIGHLAND HILLS ELEMENTARY CHRISTMAS BAZAAR, 6-9 p.m. in the school gymnasium. Great gift ideas including candles, jewelry and home shopping businesses. First grade teachers will provide baby sitting with activities and snacks for potty-trained children from 3:30-8 p.m. for $8 per child with a $20 cap per family. Child care reservations must be made by noon by calling 667-6513. Sponsored by the school's PTO to help with projects throughout the year.

SATURDAY, DEC. 15

ALL YOU CAN EAT BREAKFAST, 6-10 a.m. at White Eagle Grange, Highway 395, between Pendleton and Pilot Rock. Pancakes, French toast, sausage, ham, potato patties, eggs, biscuits and sausage gravy, orange juice and coffee are served. $5 for adults, $3 for young children. All are welcome.
