Rami Malek as Freddie Mercury

In 2018, Malek took on the role of the late Freddie Mercury in the Queen biopic ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’. The film follows the singer’s life from the formation of Queen to the band’s iconic 1985 Live Aid performance at the original Wembley Stadium. It was a major box office success, grossing $905 million worldwide, and also won Best Motion Picture at the 76th Golden Globe Awards and four Oscars, including Best Actor for Rami. Rami's incredible performance was also recognised at the Golden Globes, SAG Awards and BAFTAs.
