HERMISTON - For quilters who like a challenge, fabric for the Boardman Fall Quilt Show challenge contest is now available at Aunty Ida's Quilt Shop, 435 W. Hermiston Ave., Hermiston.

The show, which is Oct. 2-3, includes the challenge contest, featuring Color Dots Fabric from the Eric Carle fabric line. The piece must measure between 48-160 inches in circumference. It can be anything from a wall hanging to a table runner, a beach bag or garment. There is no requirement for using a variety of techniques, only that a recognizable amount of the featured fabric must be used.

For more information about the quilt show, contact Marge Shankle at 541-481-3633 or mshankle@centurytel.net.
