The Umatilla Volunteer Firefighter’s Association will host “Santa’s Shoppe,” a unique boutique inside the downtown fire station, located on Sixth Street in Umatilla. In order to offer area residents the best Christmas shopping, they are looking for crafters to sale their wares.

Volunteers have ordered more than 400 Douglas and Noble fir trees in a variety of sizes ranging from 3 to 8 feet tall. Tree sales will begin Friday, Nov. 26. Trees can be flocked for an additional fee.

Proceeds from Santa’s Shoppe and Christmas tree sales help finance the Christmas Baskets for the Needy Program.

Vendor applications for the Christmas Shoppe are available at the Fire District Office, located with the Umatilla Police Department, 300 Sixth St., and can be picked up Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

For more information, contact Santa Shoppe chairwoman Maureen Roxbury at 541-571-2393. Craft sales also will begin Friday, Nov. 26.

In addition, the Umatilla Volunteer Firefighters Association is accepting nominations of individuals or families in need.

Donations will also be accepted for the program. For more information, call 541-922-3718.
