Haviland Sheldahl-Thomason and David Imhoff have ben recognized for their outstanding achievement in the study of mathematics during their high school careers. The two students are members of the class of 2007 at Pendleton High School.

Sheldahl-Thomason and Imhoff will receive certificates of merit issued by the Oregon Council of Mathematics and the Oregon Department of Education in a program honoring students' accomplishments.

They were selected by the mathematics department of PHS based on their diligence, creativity, growth and effort in the study of mathematics. The award was announced by Kim Jones at PHS.
