PENDLETON - The Blue Mountain Genealogy Society will hold a six-hour seminar Saturday featuring professional genealogist Geoffrey Rasmussen.

Topics to be presented include: Message boards, queries and mailing lists; using Animap, Gazetteers and On Line Mapping resources; Chronologies, the foundation of successful research; organizing, research and planning using Legacy Family tree and a 12-step checklist to using your genealogy computer program.

The seminar, held at Blue Mountain Community College, will start 9 a.m. Saturday with registration at 8:30 a.m. in room ST200, science and technology building. The seminar costs $10, including lunch.
