Helix FBLA students move on to next level

<p>Helix Future Business Leaders of America students do well at state competition.</p>

Students from Helix fared well during state Future Business Leaders of America contests held recently in Portland.

First place finishers Dusty Bennett (Spreadsheet Applications) and Tucker Wilson (Introduction to Business Communication) are eligible to participate in the national FBLA contest, which is in June in Nashville. Bennett also placed fifth in Agribusiness and Wilson placed sixth in Entrepreneurship along with Braden Sprenger.

Other finishers include: Makenzie Mize (seventh, Introduction to Business Communication), Caiden Marks (ninth, Introduction to Business Communication), Bethany Newtson (10th, Introduction to Business Communication), Jarred Cope & Ana Goodwin (ninth, Desktop Publishing), and Alexis Keene & Morgan Warner (fifth, Website Design).
