MORO - The Sherman County Historical Museum is offering a narrated excursion Saturday, Sept. 26.

Beginning at the museum, 200 Dewey St., Moro, at 1 p.m., the bus will head to Lone Rock, Rutledge, Rosebush, Bourbon and Kent. The tour will also include Finnegan Canyon, Buckley and an early dinner in Grass Valley - returning to the museum around 5 p.m.

Layered clothing, walking shoes, cameras and binoculars are suggested. Little known tidbits about wildlife, geology and history will be shared.

In celebration of Oregon's 150 birthday, there is no charge for the tour and dinner, however, it's limited to 16 people and registration is required by Sept. 16. Call 541-565-3232 for more information.
