WALLA WALLA — People can see a collection of the best films from the Banff Mountain Film Festival during a World Tour stop in Walla Walla.

An international film competition, it includes a presentation of short films and documentaries about mountain culture, sports and environment. The event is Wednesday, Jan. 25 at 7 p.m. in Cordiner Hall at Whitman College, 44 S. Park Ave., Walla Walla.

The cost is $15 for adults, $10 for students with identification and $5 for Whitman alumni and kids 13 and under. Tickets are available in advance at the Whitman College bookstore and the Outdoor Program Rental Shop, 345 Boyer Ave., Walla Walla.
