PENDLETON — A presentation about birding up the Texas Gulf Coast during spring migration is the topic of Thursday’s Pendleton Bird Club meeting. The meeting is Thursday at 7 p.m. in the Rogers Room at Pendleton First Presbyterian Church, 201 S.W. Dorion Ave.

Terry Steele will discuss more than 70 species. The presentation will include spectacular scenery found on South Padre Island, Laguna Atascosa and Aransas National Wildlife Refuge.

The public is welcome. There is no admission charge, although donations to the Pendleton Bird Club are accepted.
