PENDLETON — Barbecued ribs, salads and bread will be served during a benefit dinner for the Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) program.

The event is Thursday from 5-7 p.m. at Sundown Grill and Bar-B-Q, 233 S.E. Fourth St., Pendleton. Tickets are $20.

Also, local music group Front Porch will perform and guests will have a chance to win raffle prizes.

Tickets are available at the Umatilla-Morrow Head Start, 110 N.E. Fourth St., Hermiston, or at Sundown Grill and Bar-B-Q.

The mission of CASA is for trained volunteers to advocate for safe, permanent, loving homes for children in foster care in Umatilla and Morrow counties.
