PENDLETON — Happy campers have a chance to learn about all things pizza.

Oregon Grain Growers Brand Distillery is hosting a Pizza Camp to provide hands-on training on entry-level pizza making. Participants will learn about the history of pizza as well as the art of making dough and how to design the perfect pie, and will be guided through the baking process in a wood-fired brick oven.

The event is Tuesday, Feb. 12 from 5:30-8:30 p.m. at Oregon Grain Growers Brand Distillery, 511 S.E. Court Ave., Pendleton. The cost is $40. Each camper will receive a camp T-shirt, one drink token, snacks and their own dough balls to take home. And, there will be plenty of pizza to eat.
