Dr. Seuss meets Charles Dickens

Little Watts presents “A Seussified Christmas Carol” Sunday at the Power House Theater in Walla Walla.

WALLA WALLA — A whimsical reinvention of Charles Dickens’ most beloved Christmas story will be staged in Walla Walla.

Performed in wacky rhymed couplets, “A Seussified Christmas Carol” is Sunday at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. at the Power House Theater, 111 N. Sixth St., Walla Walla. Reserved seats are $12 for adults and $8 for youths. Photo opportunities with the characters follow each performance.

Presented by Little Watts, the show features zoot-fruited juices and binka bird geese, from Bed-Headed Fred to Timmy Loo Hoo. The tale of glorious holiday cheer is similar to something Dr. Seuss might have come up with.
