Fruit Loop highlights cherries

It’s cherry season and that means it’s time for the Hood River Fruit Loop Cherry Celebration.

The free event is Saturday and Sunday. Most farms and attractions are open from at least 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (some have longer hours and the wineries open at 11 a.m.) The Fruit Loop features 35 miles of winding roads through picturesque orchards, farms and communities of the scenic Hood River Valley.
