UKIAH — A group recently formed that plans to document and share the interesting and diverse history of Ukiah, Dale, Granite and the surrounding areas.

The North Fork John Day Historical Society is sponsoring “A Time to Remember” event Friday at noon at the Ukiah Senior Center, 100 W. Despain St. The public is invited to share stories, photos and memorabilia about area life. In addition, people are welcome to attend the regular senior center lunch at 11:30 a.m. There is a suggested donation of $3.50 for seniors and $6 for others.
