HERMISTON — Girl Scout dolls in replica vintage uniforms will be featured during a open house of the Girl Scouts of Oregon and S.W. Washington Service Unit 22. The event is Tuesday, Sept. 4 from 6:30-7:30 p.m. at New Hope Community Church, 1350 S. Highway 395, Hermiston.

Mary K. King of Klamath Falls, a Girl Scout for more than 50 years, will bring “her troop” of 18 Girl Scout dolls in replica uniforms. During the “Hello Dolly!” program, King will share the history of her dolls, their uniforms and teach a traditional song and game.

The free event is open to all girls who are interested in learning more about Girl Scouts. Adults interested in volunteering at either a troop or area level are also invited to attend. For more information, contact Brandi George, GSOSW membership specialist, at 541-667-9696 or bgeorge@girlscoutsosw.org
