PENDLETON — The Umatilla County Historical Society wants to collect reminiscences of the World War II from county residents. The society hopes to publish information gathered, perhaps in different volumes, as a permanent record of what life was like during that time.

The society invites people who lived in Umatilla County during World War II, as well as county residents who were in the armed forces during that time, to contact the society offices at Heritage Station Museum at 541-276-0012.
