Splashes of color and artistry will fill the Pendleton Convention Center as hundreds of quilts are featured during the Krazy Horse Quilt Show.

Organizers are accepting registration for quilts through Friday, April 26.

Quilters of all abilities are encouraged to show their work, including quilts, wall hangings or fabric art pieces.

The public also is invited to exhibit antique or family quilts.

To register, go to www.krazyhorsequilters.org or stop by Pendleton Quilt Works, 138 S.E. Court Ave., Pendleton, or Aunty Ida’s Quilt Shop, 35 W. Hermiston Ave., Hermiston.

Quilts will be accepted Tuesday, April 2, Wednesday, May 1 and Thursday, May 2 at Pendleton Quiltworks and Aunty Ida’s Quilt Shop.

Although it’s a non-judged show, voting for a viewer’s choice and other special awards are given.

Participants can enter the Krazy Horse Fabric Challenge, utilizing fabric designated for the contest.

The show is open to the public Saturday, May 4 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, May 5 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Pendleton Convention Center.

Admission is $5, which is good for both days.

The show will include vendors throughout the weekend and lunch can be purchased on-site Saturday.

Money raised from a special raffle quilt will benefit Pendleton Center for the Arts and Altrusa International of Pendleton’s Feed the Child project.

Tickets are $1 each or six for $5.
