Lions Club serves hospital staff

Members of the Pendleton Lions Club expressed their appreciation for CHI St. Anthony Hospital staff Sept. 30, 2021, by serving Italian sodas at the Pendleton facility.

PENDLETON — The Pendleton Lions Club recently roared into CHI St. Anthony Hospital, Pendleton. The local service club served Italian sodas Sept. 30 to agency staff as a token of appreciation for all their hard work and dedication during the global pandemic, said Emily Smith, the hospital’s director of marketing and communications.

Club members spent a couple of hours visiting with staff and sharing the refreshments. In addition, they left supplies so night shift staff also could enjoy a special treat.

“The staff were very appreciative," Smith said, "and it was so nice of them to give us a special thank you."
