MILTON-FREEWATER — Nominations are being taken for the McLoughlin High School Hall of Fame.

Alumni and community members are encouraged to nominate individuals or teams that have distinguished themselves in their career fields, athletics or communities. Nominations can be made within six categories: Medicine and Science; Business and Professional; Art and Entertainment; Humanitarian and Service; Athletics or Lifetime Recognition. Category descriptions are included with the nomination form at Nominations are due by Friday, Feb. 13. Inductees will be announced March 11.

The inaugural Hall of Fame Induction ceremony and A Toast to Talent is Saturday, April 11 from 6-9 p.m. at the Milton-Freewater Community Building, 109 N.E. Fifth St. Also serving as a fundraiser for the fine arts and athletics at the high school, the event includes a silent auction, wine tasting and hors d’ouevres. Tickets are $25 per person, which includes childcare. Tickets will be available in February at the high school.
