Parents will gain information on how to keep children safe and healthy, what to do when they get sick or hurt, and when to take them to the doctor during a class through Umatilla-Morrow County Head Start. The free sessions are offered in Milton-Freewater and Hermiston.

Participants who attend “I Can Help My Child Stay Healthy” will receive a free reference handbook.

The class is Wednesday, April 10 from 6-7 p.m. in Milton-Freewater and Friday, April 12 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in Hermiston. For information on where the class will be held, participants need to pre-register.
